Game Review
Arsenal delivered a commanding performance at Elland Road, defeating Leeds United 4-0 in their Premier League clash on Saturday. This result was largely expected given Arsenal's strong form and Leeds' struggles this season. The Gunners were clinical in front of goal, capitalizing on their chances to secure a comprehensive victory. The match began with Arsenal asserting their dominance early on. Martín Zubimendi (GAP +2.9%) opened the scoring in the 27th minute, setting the tone for the rest of the game. Arsenal continued to press, and Karl Darlow (GAP +5.5%) doubled their lead in the 38th minute, leaving Leeds with a mountain to climb. In the second half, Arsenal maintained their momentum. Viktor Gyökeres (GAP +3.3%) added a third goal in the 69th minute, effectively sealing the win. Gabriel Jesus, who came on as a substitute, put the icing on the cake with a late goal in the 86th minute, rounding off a dominant display by the visitors. Tactically, Arsenal's manager made three changes to the lineup, bringing in Kai Havertz (GAP +5.3%), Noni Madueke (GAP +1.4%), and Viktor Gyökeres, while Martin Ødegaard, Gabriel Jesus, and Bukayo Saka were left out. These changes paid off, as the new inclusions played pivotal roles in the victory. Leeds United, on the other hand, made a single change, with Gabriel Gudmundsson (GAP +0.4%) replacing Sebastiaan Bornauw. Defensively, Arsenal were solid, with Gabriel Magalhães (GAP +7.5%) and William Saliba (GAP +6.3%) ensuring that Leeds had little opportunity to threaten David Raya's (GAP +5.5%) goal. The result leaves Arsenal in a strong position in the league, continuing their push for a top-four finish. For Leeds, this defeat highlights their ongoing struggles in the Premier League. They will need to regroup quickly to avoid being dragged further into the relegation battle. The home side's manager will be looking for a response in their upcoming fixtures to turn their fortunes around.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
